Maine Maritime Academy sophomore Carson Trout had a big day in the pool on Saturday in a 149-24 win over St. Joseph’s College (Maine). Trout set a new team and pool record in the 50-yard freestyle, coming in first with a time of 22.17 and reset the pool record in the 100-yard freestyle with a first-place finish time of 49.60. He was also part of a winning relay in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.99.
 

Diver of the Week

Husson University senior Spencer Bernat finished third in the one-meter event with a point total of 224.25, and took home a second-place finish on the three-meter board with a new school record 224.25 points against Plymouth State and Norwich.

Maine Maritime Academy first year Jay Creegan helped the Mariners to a 149-24 victory over St. Joseph’s College (Maine) by resetting the pool record in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a first place time of 10:48.01, and by winning the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:03.32.
